A must-see interactive puppet theatre show by Folkestone Puppets for the whole family
Delivered by local theatre group Folkestone Puppets, it tells the story of the Leas Lift that runs between Leas promenade and the Leas Coastal Park, from its grand opening in 1885 up to its closure in 2017 – and planned re-opening in the coming year.
Following successful performances undertaken across primary schools in Folkestone, this is your chance to see the brilliant show with the family for free! Join builders Chaz and Dave on their whirlwind 40-minute history tour of Folkestone’s beloved funicular lift, accompanied on keyboard by composer Johnny Tomlinson.
